'I No Longer Have Energy For Meaningless Friendships'

'If we don't vibrate on the same frequency, there's just no reason for us to waste our time'.

I originally spotted this on Facebook, posted as a reason for the culling of their Friend List. I thought: My generation is the first generation that's going to have Facebook 'forever' into our lives. It's not always going to be the same thing it was in high school, college, and so on.

While that makes sense as per our vast interconnectedness, there's something to be said about substantial relationships, whatever format they take - offline or online. Growing older seems to turn up the contrast.
